I’m not in bad shape, but it’s still the most important thing. Lighting is one of the most carefully calculated parts of any burlesque show, and after 15 years of performing I know what looks good and what doesn’t. Soft pink light is far and away the most flattering. Overhead light can be harsh and unflattering, so opt for mid-level instead. Or just turn them down - I have dimmer switches in every room of my home! |
