The English heartthrob looked calm and c...asual in a v-neck shirt, leather jacket, and a pair of distressed denim jeans. But it sounds like he’ll have his work cut out for him. When Ledger tragically died, he was in the middle of filming “Imaninarium,” leaving his part to be finished by the likes of Law, along with Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell. And when he’s done in Vancouver, Jude will be busy as the new global face for Christian Dior’s new men’s fragrance. But don’t get too excited, ladies… his ads won’t be used in US or UK markets. |

 Christian Brando DiesCategory: Cinema & TV - Posted by: KingM on Jan 28th, 2008Marlon Brando’s troubled son Christian died in L.A. over the weekend. The 49-year-old passed away Saturday at 1:47 a.m. at the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was admitted to the intensive care unit on January 11 for pneumo...nia. Christian had a few minor roles in movies and had most recently been working in construction under a pseudonym. He went to prison for voluntary manslaughter for shooting and killing his half-sister Cheyenne’s boyfriend Dag Drollet at Marlon’s Mulholland mansion in 1990. He was released in 1996 and in 2005 he pled guilty to abusing his then-wife, Deborah Presley. Christian was also accused of playing a role in the death of Robert Blake’s wife Bonnie Lee Bakley. She had originally named Brando as the father of her child before DNA tests proved it otherwise. |

He was 49. Brando died Saturday morning at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, said Da...vid Seeley, an attorney representing Marlon Brando's estate. Seeley said Brando was taken to the hospital on Jan. 11. "This is a sad and difficult time for the family," Seeley said. Born on May 11, 1958, Brando was a high school dropout and never had much of a career. He had small roles in a handful of movies, including 1968's "I Love You, Alice B. Toklas!" but he was better known for his brushes with the law. |
