 Jodie Foster`s `Stalker` Arrested Over Bomb ThreatCategory: Cinema & TV - Posted by: rapvirus on Mar 13th, 2008A man who allegedly plagued actress Jodie Foster with threatening letters has been arrested on charges of mailing a bomb threat to a Los Angeles airport. Michael Smegal, 42, of Massachusetts was charged on Tuesday with mailing the threat, which inclu...ded the words "Jodie Foster S" and "going to be a gas bomb this building (sic)," to the Van Nuys Airport in December last year. Police claim Smegal sent a further 100 almost identical letters - some of which also mentioned Foster - to the addresses of celebrities, businesses and airports. Prosecutors say Foster first began receiving anonymous letters and packages from Massachusetts in 2004. If convicted, Smegal faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. |

Earlier this year, the group opened the Peapod Music and Arts Academy for kids in foster care/at risk teens. |
