She says her... mother pressured into signing the agreement, according to People: Brooke's rep says: "Brooke Bollea is distressed at the latest efforts by mother Linda to fracture the family. This time they let leak out an old document that Brooke signed filled with exaggerations and fabrications about father Terry's behavior during the marriage. The months-old document was signed by Brooke at a time when she was upset with her father." Brooke is seriously grossed out by her mom's 19-year-old boyfriend and the two are not on speaking terms. And to drive that home, Brooke then threw her mom under the bus: "I love my mother, and hope to one day reconcile with her," Brooke says. "But using kids as pawns in a divorce is awful. Every day my mother resorts to this kind of behavior makes it that much harder for us to ever have a relationship again." You know who I want to throw under a bus? The entire Hogan family. We're told Hogan will not fight the charge of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. He will plead either guilty or no contest. Sources ...say no deal has been struck with prosecutors. Hogan will enter an "open plea," meaning the judge will have complete leeway in his sentencing and the victim and his family will have an opportunity to testify at a sentencing hearing on how the crime has affected their lives. The maximum penalty is five years in prison. On August 26, 2007, Nick was driving a suped-up Toyota with passenger John Graziano when he crashed, severely injuring John. We're told Hulk and the rest of Nick's family will be in Pinellas County court (Florida) tomorrow. |

This ...second trailer is far more well-rounded than the first in my opinion, which mounted everything on the Hulk’s rather predictable-looking end battle with Abomination. Moreover, there is a nice amount of fresh and promising footage with the Hulk and with Edward Norton here, the latter of which has an agreeably slick general blockbuster Bourne-like feel to it. |

While I still don’t have high hopes for this film, I have to admit to being a little bit surprised that I actually sort of enjoyed this trailer. Like the Ironman trailer from a couple of weeks ago, we get a lot of our hero in hu...man form, while a little bit less of the CGI bullshit. The human drama is what makes these movies work; believe it or not, that’s the truth. Too much “Hulk smash” and it would get bogged down in it’s own nonsense. As all (almost “all”) of us know, the last Hulk movie was a steaming piss puddle. But since this movie is taking the franchise in a new direction - away from the comic book stuff and a little bit more like the 70’s television show - I have hopes that the stellar cast can make the most of this and be the first comic book movie in history to actually not suck. |
