Detective Sergeant Mick Todd, the investigating officer, said that at least 5 cars/taxis drove past the crime scene. The woman, 20, had finished a phone call at 1 am and the a...ttacker jumped on her. He tried to drag her into a car park of Castlegate Shopping Center but she struggled. The victim was physically assaulted on her face. Her clothes were ripped off and then she was raped. The rapist then left the scene on his bike, while she ran to get help. Detective Todd said that they were gathering evidence from 2 eye witnesses, forensic evidence, CCTV and were waiting for more witnesses to approach the police. |

When paramedics were called to the house in Commercial Street, Angie was not breathing and unconsciousness. Sh...e was pronounced dead after they could not revive her. She died on Feb. 4, 2008. The police have launched their investigations. They had the confidence to reveal that Angie’s death was unrelated to other deaths in the area. It seemed that many of the young people had personal problems. The schools in the area have set up support groups to offer help to their students. |

T.J. Grady. All of the victims -- ranging in age from 22 to 37 -- were found in a back room of the store, he said.... Their identities were not released. "This is a very serious and sensitive investigation," Tinley Park Police Chief Michael O'Connell said Saturday evening. At least one of the victims was a Lane Bryant employee, O'Connell said. The store did not have a security camera, he added. A 911 call reporting the shooting came in at 10:44 a.m., Grady told reporters. The shopping center was locked down while stores were thoroughly searched. It was reopened after police determined the gunman had left the area. |
