She would not be competing for the same event in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. She withdrew from France’s national championships for the 200 meters. This se...rved as the qualifier for the Olympics and since she pulled out, she would not qualify to swim in the Olympics for the 200 meters event. She would still compete in the 100 meters event. |

She was their champion swimmer and holder of several records. She moved to Italy’s swimming club (Lapresse Nuoto) in May, 2007. She has since split from them. She won 4 medals in this year’s European Cha...mpionships. Laure had an Italian boyfriend, Luca Marin, but has split from him. Laure’s naked photos have been circulated on the internet. Luca was blamed but he denied any wrong doing. |
