 Jodie Foster`s `Stalker` Arrested Over Bomb ThreatCategory: Cinema & TV - Posted by: rapvirus on Mar 13th, 2008A man who allegedly plagued actress Jodie Foster with threatening letters has been arrested on charges of mailing a bomb threat to a Los Angeles airport. Michael Smegal, 42, of Massachusetts was charged on Tuesday with mailing the threat, which inclu...ded the words "Jodie Foster S" and "going to be a gas bomb this building (sic)," to the Van Nuys Airport in December last year. Police claim Smegal sent a further 100 almost identical letters - some of which also mentioned Foster - to the addresses of celebrities, businesses and airports. Prosecutors say Foster first began receiving anonymous letters and packages from Massachusetts in 2004. If convicted, Smegal faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. |

Mike would be working in collaboration with KITT’s inventor’s daughter, to fight the bad guys. This new show featured the second generation of crime fighters.... It was kind of stale and could have been dubbed as “The Son of Knight Rider” instead. The original KITT has got a makeover. It is now a black Ford Mustang, instead of the former Pontiac Trans Am. The first episode premiered on Sunday night in the US. David Hasselhoff reprised his old role. On the tape, he returned to see his son when he turned up unannounced at his estranged wife’s funeral. One movie critic said that KITT was retro and it could no longer keep this IT generation captivated. |

"Cloverfield" is the labeled government name of the amateur documenta...ry. It's probably the supreme amateur documentary revealing the best footage of how it all went down . Now it's going to play back to the audience in an unabridged "Blair Witch Project" format. What we start with is the obligatory character introductions including a bunch of twenty-somethings bidding their friend Rob (Michael Stahl-David) a farewell party before he embarks to Japan for work occupation. Hud (T.J. Miller) is the best friend and dependable wisecrack assigned to videotape the party and record testimonials from friends at the Manhattan apartment soiree. We get the standard boy-girl gossip and learn that Rob is in love with Beth (Odette Yustman), the vulnerable svelte hourglass-shaped hottie, although she's in the arms of another guy. |
