Phillip Lim is on a roll. After wooing the fashion-saavy with his beautiful frocks, now he’s onto charming yummy mummies and their tots with Kid By Phillip Lim. The designer was influenced by his pal and business partner Wen Zhou, who was constantl...y searching for cute clothes to put on her adorable daughter Ming. He took some pieces from his spring runway collection and sized them down, essentially creating matching mother and daughter outfits for day trips to pottery painting classes or visits to FAO Schwartz. Look out for the full Kid by Phillip Lim collection at the flagship store on Mercer Street in New York, as well as select boutiques across the globe. And since Ming Zhou is the face for the line, we expect she’s getting paid in free clothes.
