 Hayden Panettiere's Dad Will Be ChargedCategory: Cinema & TV - Posted by: rapvirus on Sep 28th, 2008Alan Panettiere, 49, has been charged with misdemeanor battery after he beat the hell out of his wife last month. Days after his arrest, Panettiere was seen holding hands with his wife and in a statement to Extra, he said the whole thing just a "misu...nderstanding." Also, Hayden went a step further and said, "It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame." Her dad will now have 11 months of fame in jail. People says: Panettiere faces arraignment on Oct. 11. If convicted, he faces up to a year in county jail. Alan Panettiere was arrested Aug. 11 at the family's West Hollywood home after he "struck his wife (Lesley Vogel) one or two times on the cheek causing bruising with a closed fist," a sheriff's spokesman said. The couple had returned from a charity event hosted by their daughter." |

Here’s what the 22-year-old Indiana Jones actor told Details magazine before his brush with the law: On a bonding ritual with his father: ...We would drink together and smoke together and it’s just a bad deal.” On his habitual drinking: “It’s not something that is conducive to being a role model. … And I don’t know how to do it like a gentleman.
