Kevin Everett's tale is about movement, and so much more.
His recent movement was to Chicago on Thursday, to New York on Friday, to Phoenix today and back to Houston on Monday.
On Sept. 9, Everett lay at the 20-yard line at Rich Stadium in Buffalo ...wondering why he couldn't move, not knowing if he would ever move again.
Five months later — against odds so long that one doctor described his chances for a full neurological recovery as "bleak" — Everett is walking around telling his story. His current tour, which started at the Oprah Winfrey Show, includes a stop at the Super Bowl at the behest of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Every time he moves, it is moving. Now he hopes his story can help others to find movement in their lives.
