According to TMZ, police have told the family the death was accidental and there is no evidence to support speculation that he may have committed suicide. Heat...h was ill with pneumonia when he died and an autopsy is scheduled tomorrow, although conclusive results may not be known for several weeks. According to PerezHilton.com, two bottles of sleeping aids were found, one prescription and one over-the-counter. According to Sydney’s Daily Telegraph, bottles of Diazepam and Alprazolam, both anti-anxiety drugs prescribed in his name, were also found. The paper also reports that former love Naomi Watts burst into tears upon hearing the news at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. Meanwhile, a devastated Michelle Williams, the mother of his daughter, is on a plane to New York City. |

The star was found in his bed by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET this afternoon. According to TMZ, prescription pills were found near his body. The NYPD says a masseuse a...rrived at his Soho apartment and was let in by a housekeeper. They found him in his bedroom and attempted to wake him and called 911. Paramedics arrived and the actor was in full cardiac arrest. They attempted to revive him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with Michelle Williams and was most recently romantically linked to model Gemma Ward. |
