Writers Won’t Picket 2008 Grammys

In light of the disappointment that was the 2008 Golden Globe Awards, Recording Academy President Neil Portnow has announced that the upcoming Grammy Awards will not be picketed by the striking writers’ guild. He told press, “We are pleased wit...h the decision. In light of this, we are gratified that the 50th Annual Grammy Awards will focus solely on the great music, artists and charitable work resulting from our show.”
